A cinematic headshot is an eye-catching look that can really stand out from the traditional, more standard, headshot against a normal background.  It's a highly stylized look that can really make YOU stand out from a stack of other headshots; which is why it is particularly popular with actors.

Cinematic headshots are best shot outdoors on-location in order to get that cinematic look to the background.

They're great for anyone who wants a more stylized headshot, as opposed to a traditional one. They're particularly popular with actors, but models and other professionals (e.g. executives, real estate agents, attorneys, etc.) love them to.

I shoot my headshot on-location in San Antonio. This has a lot to do with the specific look I'm after with my headshots. Obviously the weather can play a factor for your session- we all know how unpredictable south Texas weather can be. Wind can cause some issues for ladies with long hair and also for my lighting equipment.

If we end up with bad weather on the day of your session (wind, thunderstorms, extreme heat) we'll reschedule your session to the next available date and time.

Of course! If you want, or need, a more traditional headshot against a normal background we can do that instead. Traditional headshots are mainly shot indoors in the studio, or in your home or place of business.
